How do you represent the crippling weight of a mortgage in physical form?

Housies came to us with a new and revolutionary business offering they needed to promote with the goal of building hype and mass awareness pre-launch.

The offering? Making property ownership available for all Kiwis, without the weight of a crippling mortgage.

We created a clear and engaging explainer video to share this new business venture with the whole of Aotearoa in an aim to secure early access sign-ups.

The video centred around a key character (played by Housies' very own Co-Founder, Ricky), who is struggling with carrying the weight of a human-depicted mortgage - dubbed the "piggy banker".

Within one month of launch, the video had seen high levels of engagement on both Meta and TikTok. As a consequence, the ads were rewarded by the algorithms with low CPMs and CPCs.

Housies' digital marketing agency reported that the ads had shattered platform benchmarks.

With over 1.4m video views, the ads saw a whopping 211k social page engagements, 900+ shares, and almost 400 saves, with over 11,000 clicks to the landing page in the first 20 days.

Housies is just getting started, and with a compelling explainer video front and centre on their landing page, early access sign-ups are already 160% higher than expected.

"It's always been a dream to work with ODV because of the sheer quality that they produce. As high as my expectations were, they far exceeded them, not only because of the ease of the process, but the energy and creativity they brought was also exceptional."
